Warped was the greatest experience of my life. We got up at 5:30 and drove like four hours to the Gorge. When we got there we went and put our tent up, and walked over to the line. We got in and went to the board of times and wrote down everyone we wanted to see. We walked around until our first show (All Time Low) and then we went to the Hurley stage which is where they were. They were amazing!!!!!! We were in like the mosh pit, and this big sweaty guy came and stood right in front of us like on our friend's feet. So Alex and Jack were talking about how Alex comes on to Jack when he's drunk. Jack was all like, "Alex came up to me and was like, come on lets make out." Then everyone was screaming Do It! dO iT! So he's like "do what" then he walked over and kissed him on the cheek. But it was a really good set but I was really confused on Poppin' champagne, cuz I hadn't really bothered to learn the new songs, I figured Id just wing it cus I knew the old ones. Besides, I knew all the new ones besides that one. Then we walked around some more before we went to see The Academy Is... At first I was like let's sit at the top of the hill, so I can get good video, but it was WAY to far away, so we ran down the hill, and to the back of the crowd during Neighbors, and then they played Slow Down, Checkmarks, The Phrase That Pays, Classifieds, Summer Hair = Forever Young and About A Girl. I think that was it. I got video of the whole thing. And William was waering a yellow v-neck, and he ntroduced us to Sisky fucking Business. Then we wnt to get in line for TAI... signing and it wasn't too long. Then the new crew member Ziggy came out and he was walking down the line counting, and he stopped five people ahead of me, FIVE PEOPLE, and said this is the end of the line, this is all that is allowed in to sign. So I was really sad then we sat and waited for my sister to come find us, and we stayed even though they told us we wouldn't get in. Then when we got to the tent and they said they wouldn't let us in, my friend started complaining, I was so embarrassed. So then merch guy tony said OK, but I'll only let you in. But my friend doesn't even really likke TAI... She just thinks William' hot, so I was sad, and my sister was all like that's not fair. Then he looked over at me (I was wearing my SLH T-shirt) and said, 'have you got in yet' so I said no. and he said well you definitel. At me. then he said, howmany of you are there? There wwere seven so he just let us all in it was so cool!!! William was like first in line, so Iasked hime if he could sign my t-shirt, and he said, I sure can, so i turned around and he signed it. He said I'm gonna take up as lot of space cuz mines big and you have a lot of room. Then he saw the sigmature I got from the singer of Automatic Loveletter, I cannt remember her name. And he said who did this? And my sister said her name. And He was all like she's hot. I think Mike spent some time in a hot tub with her. So then Mike and the Butcher signed my back at the same time. So I got to the exit. And I didn't know if Sisky and Michael Guy Chislett had signed it (I found out later they had not) so I kind of gestured at my back with my water bottle, and said -apparently very quietly- did you sign it. Cuz Michael Guy Chislett just stared at me silently -it was very intimidating- and then Sisky just kind of looked at me and said, I'm the preying Mantis. So I just kind of half smiled at him, and left the tent. Then I cried on my friends shoulder cuz I was so happy. I felt bad cuz I didn't want them to hate me because I wasn't supposed to be allowed in. Then we wnet to see Relient K, and it was a really good show. They played I need You, High Of 75, The Scene And Herd, Be My escape, The Best Thing, Sadie Hawkins, and this song about the Office. There were these guys behind us thet were super excited, like haedbanging and stuff. And they knew all the words. But my favorite part was when during Sadie Hawkins when he was like "She said your smooth, and goo dwith talking. Your going w/ me." Then he was like where they going. And just about everybody screamed, "The Sadie Hawkins!" It was awsome. They sounded really good. Then we waited in there for Gym Class Heroes. And it was good but then they opened it up in the middle, and of course we were in the middle, so we almost got crushed before we got out. and they broke my friend's flip flop. We told her not to wear flip flops. Then We watched Cobra Starship at 9 pm, and there were all these crowd surfers and they kind of ruined it. Plus I have weak little girl arms, so the kept like falling on me, it hurt way bad. So we wen to the back. Then Gabe had everybody put their fist in the air, and when he counted to three pump it three times. So he counted and we fist pumped. And he said, OK I think your ready for Church Of Hot Addiction. And everyone started screaming, and they played it and everyone did the thing on HEY HEY HEY. It was great. Then He was talking about Vicky T, and he was all like, 'dont think just because I'm talking everyone didn't hear you fuck up there." Then he was all like, playing the keytar is hard, it's like playing a piano in your vagina. Then when he sang 'when thhe world is ending- what are we doing-", and everyone yelled "Throwing the party!!' Then it was over and we walked back to the campsite, cuz Cobra starship played last. It was the best day of my life. It was like 95 and I got a great sunburn. yyyaaaayyy.
